This technology is built-in protection for the hard disk that is designed to help prevent disk issues if the computer is dropped or undergoes severe vibration. But funny enough there are some free software to play with this sensor motion. I have search the net for you and of course for myself for some funny software. Most of them have no useful function but fun to play with.

Download mp3s and enjoy to your best music for nothing! It’s possible to find mp3 files without installing Limewire, Morpheus or other peer to peer programs. You can now use this google search code. At the end of the code replace the artist name instead of Jimmy Hendrix you must replace it with the music artist you are looking for. Copy and past it in the google search bar and hit enter.

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “jimmy hendrix”

Soople is an early English dialect, which means ‘to soften, make supple’.

That’s exactly what I envisioned for this site ; a site that softens all the fantastic advanced functions Google offers. This site is meant for all those who are not yet familiar with all the possibilities of Google and all the required syntaxes.

For instance, one can specify a search by one particuliar site or filetype( word, excel, powerpoint and pdf) or an imagesearch by size and type.

Furthermore there are many useful tools Google offers; search in the latest news, look up definitions or use Google as a phonebook.

And last but not least, the Calculator. This amazing tool let’s you do all kind of (very advanced) calculations. Soople has added the unit-converter, which is based on this calculator, for the conversion of all the commmon units/measures (meters<—>yards). Quite supple, if you ask me.

Have a lot of Google-fun

Here are some trick today how to make your youtube video can automatically play when you embed code into your blog or web. To make the youtube video play automatically just add this code &autoplay=1 to both of the youtube url. For example:

<object width=”425″ height=”344″><param name=”movie” value=”http://www.youtube.com/v/Fmk4A_W4JrE&hl=en“></param><embed src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/Fmk4A_W4JrE&hl=en” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” width=”425″ height=”344″></embed></object>

Just replace this code:

On the theAppleblog.com I found an article written by Jason. Here he explains how to use Automator to create a plugin that you can use to toggle the view of hidden files from within Finder. For me very handy and thanx to Jason.

Step 1: Automator Actions

After opening Automator, select Automator from within the Applications Library on the left-hand side. You’ll now see a number of different built-in actions that are available to the Automator application.

Select Run Shell Script from the list of available actions, and drag it into your workflow.

Type (or paste in) the following code into the Run Shell Script text box: Continue reading »

I do have problems uploading my images using wordpress. It seems it doesn’t create the directory uploads on the server. So my images aren’t visible….and damn that makes it quite frustrated.  But finally after a couple of days searching the net I found the answer. Pretty simple but still you need to find it and of course be patient and keep searching. Now every time I upload images they become visible…ha ha ha.

Apple

Apple and Wordpress

This is what I did. After you log in on your wordpress account scroll down to SETTINGS. Under this link go to MISCELLANEOUS changed ‘Store uploads in this folder’ to ‘wp-content/uploads’ In my settings it was standard on just ‘wp-content’ So I added /uploads to it saved the settings….and guess what every time I upload my images now. They show up. Wow finally and this is a relief to me. Now I can seriously start my blogging.

thanks to the forum of Wordpress
